This past weekend, I attended a conference in Waterloo, Ontario hosted by a group of UW students who call themselves EPIC… and rightfully so. Their inaugural technology conference, EpCon featured the likes of Steven Woods (Site Director at Google Waterloo), Mike Lee (Chief Strategic Officer of Rogers), and Saul Colt (Lead Evangelist for Thoora).

Out in the Cold

Founded in March 2007 Out in the Cold is a grassroots, student-run event held every November, where students and community members are invited to spend the night outside on campus, to raise money and awareness of homelessness issues in their local community.
