Time For Change recap
Time For Change was born from a desire of Kristina and Ruby to celebrate our birthdays in a more meaningful way than the usual go-out-and-party-nights. Inspired by Timeraiser, a photo auction was held on December 3, 2009 to share our stories, encounters, gains and pains from our summer in Botswana and Malawi, as well as to connect all those who want to be involved in the local community with meaningful volunteering opportunities that match their skills and fit their busy lifestyle.

Founded in March 2007 Out in the Cold is a grassroots, student-run event held every November, where students and community members are invited to spend the night outside on campus, to raise money and awareness of homelessness issues in their local community.
Opportunities to Create Social Change – Workshop Recap
Understanding the process of transformative social change and how young people can become a part of the movement. I facilitated my first social innovation-related workshop on Thursday evening this past week and the response from the participants seemed positive.
